Ovary and Ovules

Ovary is the female organ (reproductive part) of a flower which turns into a mature fruit after fertilization. Ovules are those parts of the plant that turn into seeds and are located inside (attached to) the ovary. There may be one or more ovules. In botany, seeds are ripened ovules and fruits are the ripened ovaries. (1)
